Responsibilities and Expectations
Oly Fire Responsibilities (pdf of the information below)
Memo To: Oly Fire Parents, Coaches, Players
From: Oly Fire Board
Subject: Responsibilities and Expectations of the
Oly Fire Board, Coaches, Parents, and Players
The Oly Fire travel softball organization has
experienced continued growth and on-field success since it began with a
single 14 and under team in 1996. With our growth, we have also
experienced new challenges with each passing season. Our organization
has never been perfect, but we have tried to learn from our past
mistakes, as well as from suggestions and advice we have received over
the years.
One of Oly Fire's most important goals is to
continue our success on the ball diamond, while at the same time making
the Oly Fire travel ball experience as enjoyable and productive as
possible for our players, parents and coaches.
We recognize that any organization can only be as
good as what it stands for and the people involved. In recognition of
that fact, the Oly Fire Board thought it would be appropriate to provide
a copy of our mission statement and what we feel are the
responsibilities of the board members, coaches, parents and players that
make up Oly Fire.
The Oly Fire Board and coaching staff welcome
input from any member of the extended Oly Fire family in regard to this
document, or any activity associated with the Oly Fire travel softball
organization.
